Salt Lake City Utah Wedding Photographer | Shea and Franco
I am so excited to share this Cottonwood Canyon engagement session! If you are ever looking for a winter location for engagement photos, I highly recommend heading to the mountains! We had to climb a 7′ snow drift; but we enjoyed beautiful views, I guess the mountains were pretty too. My favorite part about engagement sessions is observing the couple as they interact with one another. Being in front of the camera is not easy. Shaela and Franco made it seem effortless.
How did they meet?
Franco and Shaela met in Ecuador on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; he had 3 months left when he became Shaela’s Zone leader and when he went home she still had a year left. They kept in touch throughout that time and started dating once she returned home.
How did he propose?
Franco invited Shaela to a family dinner at his aunt’s house. They went to the mountains in bountiful, and overlooking the valley, Franco surprised her with a ring and popped the big question; without hesitation Shaela said yes.
What do they love to do together?
Franco and Shaela love dancing and relaxing at home with ice cream and a good movie.
